About The Art

This art print was originally photographed and published to promote the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne and now is available as a reproduction giclée art print (using archival pigment inks) They still retain the aged Ben-Day dots which gives them that authentic feel.

The Ben-Day Dots printing process, named after illustrator and printer Benjamin Day, is similar to Pointillism. Depending on the effect, colour and optical illusion needed, small coloured dots are closely-spaced, widely-spaced or overlapping

(note: unframed 30cm x 40cm, 50cm x 70cm & 61cm x 91cm prints fit Ikea Ribba frame series)
